This page describes what the current app does with information. The app is hosted on DHAKSHIN’s computer; the person operating that computer controls its database and availability.

Accounts and saved settings

• The app stores your username, a salted scrypt password hash, account role, and account creation time. It does not store your plain-text password.
• Sign-in creates a browser session that expires after 14 days. The database stores a hash of the session token; the browser cookie is marked HttpOnly and SameSite Strict.
• You can change your password after signing in. A password change revokes the account’s other active sessions.
• Your memory notes, response preferences, and saved chats are stored with your account when chat-history saving is enabled. The browser also keeps a local copy to support the app; those browser-storage keys are separated by signed-in account on each device.

Questions, files, and AI responses

Your prompt and the recent conversation context needed to answer it are sent to Ollama running on the host computer. Saved memory notes for your account are included as personalization context. The app does not save ordinary prompts or replies to its server database unless you enable saved chat history. Text from attached files is sent to the local Ollama service for that request and is not saved as chat history. Photo prompts are sent only to the host computer's local image model; generated PNG images are returned to the requesting signed-in browser and are not saved to the server database by the app.

All accounts use the same Ollama service on the host computer. The operator of that computer can access the app’s database and operating environment. Do not send information you do not want processed by that computer.

Search and voice

• Current-information questions are searched automatically. If you turn on web lookup, your question text is sent to Bing. Saved memory and attached file text are not included in the web search request.
• Voice input uses the browser or device’s speech-recognition feature. Its provider may process audio or recognized speech under that provider’s own settings and privacy terms. The app itself does not store microphone recordings.
• When remote access is enabled, the selected tunnel provider relays the connection to the host computer. That provider’s privacy terms apply to its network service.

Reports and operational data

If you report an answer, the app stores the answer text, your selected reason, your account, and the time of the report for the owner to review. Sign-up, sign-in, and request limits use your network address temporarily in server memory; the app does not put those addresses in the account database. The server does not keep routine HTTP access logs.

Retention and account requests

Turning off saved chat history clears saved chats for that account. You can edit or remove memory notes in the app. Regular users can permanently delete their account from the app’s sidebar after confirming their password and typing DELETE; this also removes that account’s saved profile, sessions, and reports. The owner account is protected from self-service deletion. The operator may also remove account data from the host database.

Security and availability

The app uses password hashing, account sessions, and request limits. Remote HTTPS depends on the configured tunnel. Account data is stored on the host computer, so its device security, backups, and availability are controlled by the operator. The app cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or eliminate every security risk.
